Argentine American, Jeff Ausfahl, has performed in seven countries as a guitarist and singer for such distinguished guests as Baron von Paantz, Princess Jasmine of Yemen, Baron von Rothschild, Malcolm Forbes and the Queen of England. (He'll never forget getting a 'thumbs up' for the band from Princess Diana of Wales.) He has charmed audiences in 32 different states in the USA.

As an active member of the vibrant music scene of New York, Jeff has already shared the stage with numerous artists: comedian George Burns, R&B singer Ruth Brown, pop singer Clint Holmes, broadway legend Chita Rivera and Motown classic Martha Reeves.

He has also been active under the stage, performing with various broadway and off-broadway productions, and the Radio City Christmas show.

Jeff holds a bachelors degree in jazz guitar from Berklee College of Music, Boston MA, a masters degree in classical guitar from Montclair State University, Montclair NJ, and has done extended studies in Spain at the University of Valladolid, University of León, and in Madrid, where his guitars were hand-made for him.

His published works include 5 compositions for various brass instruments with guitar by Puna Music Company, and 2 recorded CD accompaniments by Cherry Lane Music.

Born of an Argentine father and North American mother, Jeff received his first musical training as a drummer in the Boys Brigade Bagpipe Band, while growing up in Glasgow, Scotland. He later lived in Chicago, Boston and New York. Although he is an American songwriter, Jeff Ausfahl s colorful upbringing has had a unique influence on his passionate yet entertaining compositions.

As a soloist, Jeff specializes in Flamenco, classical Spanish guitar music, American and Brazilian jazz, selective Beatles classics, some Irish favorites, and The American Songbook of Broadway hits. He has discovered that this combination of music is the most pleasing, particularly with an international clientele. It's soft and very, very elegant.

Mr. Ausfahl is a sinewy, genial man with longish hair and sharply chiseled features. The audience is highly appreciative. Mr. Ausfahl did a solo, and a woman stopped by to coo: He can just do that all night long.
